Participation
Clinical research studies have specific guidelines called inclusion/exclusion criteria
that establish who can participate. In order to find out if you qualify to participate in a
study, a member of our research staff will ask study relevant questions regarding your
medical history. It is important that you be honest when disclosing current and past health problems, as this information is used to identify appropriate candidates and keep them safe. Anyone entering a clinical trial is required to sign a consent form indicating that they understand the reason for the study and their level of participation. Involvement in research studies is completely voluntary with no monetary cost to you if you qualify. Some studies provide study medication as well as compensation for time and travel.
